Description
A Friend of Time is a bold portrait of the African baobab tree strikingly highlighted against a plain white background. This creates a clean image characterised by contemporary monochrome simplicity. Unruly branches, crowned with fine messy twigs sit atop the barrel-like trunk, and the rich texture of the tree reflects its aged and worn character.
Drawn on a large scale this is an impressive piece when displayed as a large individual artwork or as part of a series of smaller prints.
