Worldwide Shipping

We offer free shipping within South Africa and for international orders of two or more items. International orders consisting of only one item are charged a USD $50 flat rate. International orders are shipped by FedEx Express, while PostNet handles our domestic deliveries.

Prints are created once orders are received and are handled with a bespoke touch by the artist. As soon as your order is placed we will be in contact via email to let you know the expected shipping departure date. We take pride in every aspect of our creative process as well as ensuring the artwork is safely delivered to you.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding shipping, please contact us and we will be more than happy to assist.

Domestic Deliveries within South Africa

  • For domestic orders we use PostNet.
  • The PostNet2PostNet courier service is our selected choice given its wide pick up and distribution network and cost effectiveness.
  • A waybill/tracking number will be emailed to the client once it is issued and this should then be used to track deliveries online.
  • All deliveries can be tracked using the PostNet Shipment Tracker App or with the Tracking Facility on their Webpage https://www.postnet.co.za.
  • After receiving the waybill/tracking number delivery can be expected within 2-3 working days (please allow an extra day for outlying areas).
  • An SMS is sent from PostNet to receivers to collect their parcels.

International Deliveries

  • We use air freight, door to door courier service.
  • Our chosen courier service utilizes the FedEx Express Service, based out of Cape Town International Airport .
  • A waybill/tracking number will be emailed to the client once it is issued and this should then be used to track deliveries online.
  • All deliveries can be tracked using the Fedex Phone App or with the Tracking Facility on their Webpage https://www.fedex.com
  • After receiving the waybill/tracking number, delivery time is usually within 4-10 working days.
  • In rare situations there may be delays in delivery caused by unforeseen airport/airline changes.
  • Our courier company will transport your packaged artwork from South Africa to your closest international airport. Should there be any duty charges they will liaise directly with you to clear customs and process any payments.  The package will be released from customs after payment and the courier company will proceed to deliver your artwork to your chosen delivery address either at home or the office.

Packaging

  • Prints are sent carefully rolled in a hard, protective cardboard tube.
  • Rolled and tubed is a safe and cost-effective packaging option for sending artworks via airfreight.
  • Artwork is bespoke wrapped with protective tissue paper and beautiful finishing touches.
  • We use the widest tubes available to ensure the paper prints are not rolled too tightly.
  • The protective tube is designed for transport purposes only and not for long term storage.
  • Shipping charges listed are only for tubed and rolled prints.
  • Should we receive a personal request for artwork to be sent framed, a customised shipping crate will need to be ordered and the shipping rate calculated. If this is the case, please email us to discuss.

Insurance

All artworks are safely wrapped in protective packaging and tracking numbers allow us and the client to follow the parcel’s journey to its destination. However if a client would like to insure artwork in-transit we recommend they insure through their own preferred insurance options.

We use third party couriers and can only offer in-transit insurance if this is arranged with us in advance, as the client would need to complete a separate administration form with our courier service provider.

Potential Import Fees

As with all international shipping, there may be additional fees that are not included as part of our shipping rates; these are the sole responsibility of the customer to pay and may include:

  • Customs import duties/taxes/VAT/handling or clearance fees, which are only assessed upon inspection at destination by your local Customs Authority.
  • Customs stops, examinations, storage, fumigation.

Unfortunately, neither we nor the courier company have any way of knowing in advance what these fees might be; please contact your local Customs office for more information.

Delays

While we will endeavour to prevent any delays, we are not responsible for any costs arising from third party delays which are not within our control. With the current Covid-19 situation, sometimes there are unforeseen disruptions during the shipping process.
